Elena Mignosi, Università degli studi di Palermo. Elena Mignosi is Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Palermo where she teaches Theories, Strategies and Education Systems, Expressive-Body Languages Methodologies and Techniques, Pedagogy of Body and Music Pedagogy. She has a degree in Family Therapy and she is dance-movement therapist (APID - Italian Dance Therapy Professional Association). She has a long experience in training of trainers, educators and social workers in various contexts. She has written numerous books and articles.
Vania Baldi, Universidade de Aveiro. Vania Baldi is Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, has a degree in Sociology from La Sapienza University of Roma, a master’s degree in Identité et Unité de l’homme (CETSAH/EHESS/CNRS, France) and Phd in Ethics and Anthropology from the University of Salento (Italia). His research interests are related with Network Society, Hypermediated Space and Civic Media, Affordance of Algorithms in Our Lives, relationship between Immediacy and Hypermediacy in Digital Culture, Culture and Imaginary of Consumption, Anthropology and Epistemology of Technique, Spreadable Media among Open Innovation and InfoWar, Engagement and Authorship in WebDoc, Analysis of Discourses on Technological Innovations.
Míriem Solsona i Pobes, CEESC. Míriem Solsona i Pobes is member of the board of Col·legi d’Educadores I Educadors Socials de Catalunya. She graduated in Social Education from the University of Barcelona. She is postgraduated in Participation and Social Sustainability (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2006) and Conflict Management and Family Mediation from a Systemic Approach (Universitat de Girona 2017). She deepened the topic of conflict prevention with the training in Restaurative Practices held by the International Institute of Restaurative Practices, and afterwards has been trained in NVC with the Center for Non Violent Communication. She has worked in socials services and as a social educator in multicultural environments with young migrants, women and children. Currently, she is working as a Community Mediator in conflict management and community programmes.
Herman Fernández Ventura, CEESC. Herman Fernández Ventura graduated in Social Education from the University of Barcelona (UB), in Psychology from the UNED and has a master's degree in Mediation and Conflict Management from the IL3. He is also trained in the fields of personal and organisational coaching and emotional intelligence. He has worked as an educator and psychologist with children and young people at risk, facilitating their development and integration. He is an expert mediator in the family field and has a lot of experience in community conflicts and as a traiiner.
Hannele Tams, Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Hannele Tams has a Master of Education in the field of Special Education (1985), and is qualified as Social Worker (1989) and Lecturer in the field of Social Services (2010). Since 2007, she has been working at Savonia UAS as Senior Lecturer and International Coordinator. Currently she is teaching multiculturalism in social care and creative methods for the degree programme in Social Sciences. For almost ten years (1985-1995), she worked as a social worker in social welfare office. From 1995, she started to work in a local NGO, at first, as a social worker (1995-1996), and then (1996-2007) as an executive manager. She has expertise in the work with people at risk of social exclusion, in understanding process of networking and meaning of creative and participatory methods in the work with people in difficult life situations. Also, along her whole working career she has been working with multicultural issues, both while working in development cooperation and other NGOs (for 20 years), and in her current job position (for 11 years).
